About: Our Lady's Warriors website

Our Lady's Warriors

UPDATE: This is a great site....NOT schismatic! :)
BEWARE!
LOTS OF GOOD TEACHING...BUT  I HAVE NOT LOOKED ENOUGH TO BE SURE BUT THIS SITE COULD BE SCHISMATIC'' When they say their mission is uphold the true faith...then they may reject the magisterium and become their own magisterium and that is not 'full communion' and may even be schismatic....Take the good stuff and leave the rest...and there is lots of good stuff...but remember         "Where Peter  is , there is the Church."

They say this:
Our Lady's Warriors mission is to uphold and advocate the true teachings of the Catholic Church within the capabilities of fully faithful Catholic laity.
We provide access to Catholic doctrinal and dogmatic resources which explain the Truths of the Catholic Faith for your learning and understanding. These resources are placed on the internet to allow easy access as well as to provide a search capability for convenient study and analysis.
Our Lady's Warriors also offer resources that expose the errors being purported as truth by dissenters (see heresy, schism, and apostasy). These dissidents are people and organizations who claim but be Catholic, but promote non-Catholic opinions and feelings as something to be accepted by Catholic laity or, even worse, as official doctrine to be accepted by the teaching authority of the Church itself. This situation has occurred many times in the past 2000 years of Church history, and today is no different (get the book Great Heresies). Our prayers are directed at the return of these dissident Catholics to the true Faith.
This site is aimed specifically at defending the Catholic Faith from the errors of dissenting Catholics. It is not for non-Catholics nor focused on apologetics for conversion of those from non-Catholic faiths to Catholicism. If you are not Catholic, you should be able to understand that we want unadulterated Faith as handed down in Scripture and Tradition from Jesus Christ and His Apostles. For good apologetics sites explaining why we believe what we believe, see our links page.

Who are Our Lady's Warriors?

Our Lady's Warriors is an internet portal for those Catholic laity who are 100% loyal to and obey the Holy See (the Pope) and the teaching authority of the Church (the Magisterium), and who wish to defend our Faith against the wolves in sheep's clothing - those better known as dissenters. We are all volunteers. We strive to live the Gospel, just as the Blessed Virgin Mary tells us: "Do whatever He tells you" (John 2:5). If you wish to write an article defending the Faith, please contact us.
Our Lady's Warriors is an internet-only apostolate. Everything you see on this website is everything we have to offer. We do not have a an office or staff to answer phone calls or FAXs. Nor do we offer Sacramentals, Church goods, printed materials, videos or audio tapes. Given this is an internet portal only, we cannot provide donations to other organizations. If you do wish to purchase Catholic items, please do so at one of the Catholic Stores listed on our links page.

Why do we do what we do?

This is necessary today to correct the errors being promulgated as Catholic, which in fact are not of the Faith.
The Bible warns us of such a state of affairs; "I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves [clergy] will arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be alert" (Acts 20:29-31). "And what I do I will continue to do, in order to undermine the claim of those who would like to claim that in their boasted mission they work on the same terms as we do. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds" (2 Corinthians 11:12-15). "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit" (Matthew 7:15-18).
Admonishing the sinner (dissenter) is a spiritual act of mercy. St. Leo says "It is an act of great piety to expose the concealments of the impious and to defeat there the devil himself, whose slaves they are." (St. Leo, sermon 8.4). St. Francis de Sales wrote in his book "Introduction to a Devout Life" that "it is an act of charity to cry out against the wolf when he is among the sheep, wherever he is." Pope Pius IX reminds us; "Therefore We entreat you to use every means of revealing to your faithful people the many kinds of plot, pretense, error, deceit and contrivance which our enemies use." (Qui Pluribus
Protecting the faithful from the falsehoods of dissenters is also a spiritual act of mercy, in the form of instructing the ignorant who are not properly taught their faith and counseling the doubtful who are confused by the errors spread via dissenters.
Canon law elaborates on the specific rights and responsibilities of the Faithful. Canon 209 1 states that "Christ's faithful are bound to preserve their communion with the Church at all times, even in their external actions." Canon 212 1 states "Christ's faithful, conscious of their own responsibility, are bound to show Christian obedience to what the sacred Pastors, who represent Christ, declare as teachers of the faith and prescribe as rulers of the Church." Canon 213 states "Christ's faithful have the right to be assisted by their Pastors from the spiritual riches of the Church, especially by the word of God and the sacraments." It is clear that Catholics are duty-bound to obey the teaching authority of the Church and correspondingly have the right to receive pure and proper doctrinal teaching from their local Church/Diocese.
Vatican II Lumen Gentium #37 repeats the the above and adds "Like all Christians, the laity should promptly accept in Christian obedience what is decided by the pastors who, as teachers and rulers of the Church, represent Christ. In this they will follow Christ's example who, by his obedience unto death, opened the blessed way of the liberty of the sons of God to all men." Our Lady's Warriors focuses on obedience to the Church's teachings unlike those who wish to foist their own personal pagan and secular influenced faith upon Catholics.
Pope St. Felix III said "Not to oppose error is to approve it; and not to defend truth is to suppress it."

Why the name Our Lady's Warriors?

Our Lady's Warriors name originates from several spiritual realities, so often forgotten in the modernist secular world.

Why Our Lady?

Our Lady is the first and perfect Disciple who always leads us to Her Son Jesus Christ. Our Lady says 'Do whatever He tells you.' (John 2:5). Imitating Our Lady means that we follow the very perfection of creation, who is the created reflection of the Uncreated Love, the Holy Spirit.
Summarizing the words of St. Louis de Montfort in his book True Devotion to Mary, dedicating ourselves to the Blessed Virgin Mary obtains the following results:
  1. We give ourselves completely to God.
  2. We imitate Christ.
  3. Our Lady showers her blessings upon us.
  4. We give great glory to God.
  5. We walk the Marian path which is an easy, short, perfect and sure way of attaining union with Our Lord in Whom all perfection consists.
  6. We find true freedom and liberty of spirit by becoming the slaves of love of Jesus in Mary.
  7. Our neighbor is helped in an outstanding way (love your neighbor as yourself).
  8. We are granted a wonderful means of persevering in the practice of virtue and of remaining steadfast.
Hard to believe? Quoting St. Louis de Montfort, If any critic reading this should imagine that I am exaggerating or speaking from an excess of devotion, he has not, alas, understood what I have said. Either he is a carnal man who has no taste for the spiritual; or he is a worldly man who has cut himself off from the Holy Spirit; or he is a proud and critical man who ridicules and condemns anything he does not understand. But those who are born not of blood nor of the flesh, nor of the will of man but of God and of Mary, understand and appreciate what I have to say. And it for them that I am writing.
Our Lady is also our Mother. Doesn't any good mother lovingly help her children? So then doesn't the Perfect Mother provide all the more loving help? In fact, one of the promises of Our Lady for those that pray the Rosary is the defeat of heresy. With a prime goal of exposing errors being promulgated in the Church by dissenting Catholics, Our Lady's Warriors wants an end to heresy and error.

Why Warriors?

We are truly engaged in a lifetime war for the salvation of our souls. Our enemy is satan, the devil, the father of lies, the old bag. Many sources confirm this, a few of which are listed below.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says in #2846 "We ask him not to allow us to take the way that leads to sin. We are engaged in the battle 'between flesh and spirit'; this petition implores the Spirit of discernment and strength."
St. Alphonsus Ligouri tells us in the Necessity and Power of Prayer, "The Lord has given us our post in the battle against powerful foes; but he is faithful in his promises, and will never allow us to be assaulted more violently than we can resist: God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which thou are able" (1 Cor. 10,13).
St. John of the Cross in Dark Night of the Soul says "These enemies, as we have said, bind the soul as with bonds, in its desires and pleasures, and prevent it from going forth from itself to the liberty of the love of God; and without these desires and pleasures they cannot give battle to the soul, as has been said."
In the Way of Perfection, St. Teresa of Avila explains "A second reason why we should be resolute is that this will give the devil less opportunity to tempt us. He is very much afraid of resolute souls ... Another reason, very much to the point, is that a resolute person fights more courageously. He knows that, come what may, he must not retreat. He is like a soldier in battle who is aware that if he is vanquished his life will not be spared and that if he escapes death in battle he must die afterwards. It has been proved, I think, that such a man will fight more resolutely and will try, as they say, to sell his life dearly, fearing the enemy's blows the less because he understands the importance of victory and knows that his very life depends upon his gaining it."
Vatican II's On the Church in the Modern World (Gaudium et Spes) states "Pressing upon the Christian to be sure, are the need and the duty to battle against evil through manifold tribulations and even to suffer death. But, linked with the paschal mystery and patterned on the dying Christ, he will hasten forward to resurrection in the strength which comes from hope."
The Apostolic Constitution on the Doctrine of Indulgences uses a term that has been rarely used today, that of the Church Militant. Number 7 states "For the only-begotten son of God . . . has won a treasure for the militant Church . . . and has entrusted it to blessed Peter, the keybearer of heaven, and to his successors, Christ's vicars on earth, that they may distribute it to the faithful for their salvation, applying it mercifully for reasonable causes to all who are repentant and have confessed their sins, at times remitting completely and at times partially the temporal punishment due sin in a general as well as in special ways insofar as they judge it to be fitting in the eyes of the Lord. It is known that the merits of the Blessed Mother of God and of all the elect . . . add further to this treasure." This term simply reminds us of this battle while we live on earth.
Lastly, the Bible in Ephesians 6:10-17 explains "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; besides all these, taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
In summary, Our Lady's Warriors battles the evil of error (heresy, schism, and apostasy) led by Our Lady who is the absolutely best way to get to Jesus Christ, Who Himself is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
