This book by Dr. Scott Hahn presents a Catholic approach to Scripture, highlighting the theme of covenant. Tracing a path through salvation history, the book explains the various books of the Bible and the importance of each event in salvation history. Understanding the Scriptures will provide an understanding of Sacred Scripture so critical to the Catholic Faith. The Didache Complete Course Series is a series of four high school textbooks, teacher's manuals, student workbooks, and teacher's answer guides published by Midwest Theological Forum. Each title spans one academic year. As of 2009, they were being used in about one-third Catholic high schools. This textbook is published with ecclesiastical approval from the Archdiocese of Chicago, and it has been granted conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church by the USCCB Subcommittee on the Catechism.

Carson Weber is the author of the Understanding the Scriptures Podcast. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Information Technology from Texas A&M University (2001) and his Master of Arts in Theology & Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Catechetics from Franciscan University of Steubenville (2004). In the past, Carson served St. Mary Parish in Brenham, Texas as the Director of Adult Faith Formation & Evangelization. He also worked for the Saint Paul Center for Biblical Theology under the direction of Dr. Scott Hahn in Steubenville, Ohio. For five years, he served the Catholic Diocese of Sacramento as the Director of Evangelization, and subsequently, New Media Evangelization.

In 2012, Carson resigned from his diocesan position to pursue his entrepreneurial dream of working full-time from home, to be more present to his growing family as a husband and father. He speaks and teaches on the Catholic faith, evangelization, catechesis, and the new media. He also designs and hosts websites for commercial and non-profit entities, especially Catholic parishes, ministries, and schools. Carson is devoted to his bride, Rebecca Mary, and their three beautiful children, Thérèse Mary Grace (5), Bernadette Mary Clare (3), and John Paul Augustine (newborn).
