Zbigniew Brzezinski's Shocking Quote in 'Witness to Hope' Documentary on Pope John Paul II

I found a disturbing and SHOCKING description of 'the age we are about to enter' in this quote from former U.S. National Security Advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski.  He calls the age that we are about to enter 'Post Human'!  WHAT???  He did not say 'post Christian'. He did not say 'post modern'. He said 'post human'!
Now just what in the world does he mean by 'post human'?
Is he talking about something like transhumanism? a cyborg type of reality? some sort of consciousness transfer into machines? what?
What does post human mean?
How can humanity 'be' in a post human age?

The quote is from 'Witness to Hope' (1:51:02 - 1:52:09).
Brzezinski is taking about St Pope John Paul II.

"He is, above all else, a person who has somehow or other, in a very charasmatic fashion, managed to create a link between humanity and divinity, in the age of modern communications, that no other religious figure has been able to achieve.  The age that we are about to enter, which risks of becoming the first truly POST HUMAN (?!) age, is an age which could threaten the transcendental mystery of the human being, and that the response to that has to be somehow found in the area of religion and spirituality. He embodies that. He conveys that. He personalizes and dramatizes that. And I think that is the key to his very special place in the world."

Shaped by the terrors of Nazi-occupied Poland and the subsequent brutalities of the Communist regime, John Paul II became one of the world’s greatest proponents of religious freedom and human rights. With rare historical stills and archival footage, along with new location footage taken in Rome and Poland, this richly textured film traces the personal life and struggles of the first non-Italian pope in over 450 years. WITNESS TO HOPE is a complete and intimate portrait of the most beloved pope of the twentieth century.
